Saving Glutathione! McGuff, along with the assistance of other nominators, was able to convince the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (put in place by the FDA) to keep Glutathione as a bulk drug substance able to compound.

ASCOR® (Ascorbic Acid Injection, USP) NDA was approved by the FDA - 11 years in the making! McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. received the FDA’s sole approval for vitamin C injection guaranteeing its availability to the United States market.

McGuff organized a petition with customers to persuade Congress to reduce rigid regulations that were limiting the ability of compounding pharmacies to supply patients with their medications in a timely manner.

McGuff receives approval for Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate injection, an equivalent to Delalutin Injection.

McGuff Medical Canada, Inc. was formed to supply pharmaceutical drugs to the Canadian market.

McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. submitted an NDA application for ASCOR® (Ascorbic Acid Injection, USP).

Gilbert J. McGuff sold McGuff Company, Inc. to his youngest son, Ronald McGuff (current President and CEO) and was hired as its first official employee.

Gilbert J. McGuff originally established McGuff Company, Inc. as a sole proprietor for a side job. He supplied bariatric physicians and patients with innovative medical products.
